These pictures are of 'Southerner' taken during her initial sea trials.











Cabin

The 'Southerner' has been equiped with the Euronav Seapro charting/navigation system, using the high resolution monitor shown in the picture. This is driven by a laptop computer sited behind one of the cabin panels. This comes with a built-in CD writer for taking backups, or it can easily be removed at the end of the days fishing.







Engines

The boat is designed to use cheap low power outboard engines mounted on each of the twin hulls. The 'Southerner' is installed with twin 9.5HP engines and achieved 8 knots in trials.
